Glock 22 Gen 4

After beating Skyrim, I started playing a few first person shooters (Left 4 Dead 2 and Halo: Anniversary for the main part), I was inspired to create a gun in Maya. I made a Glock 22 Gen 4 in order to replace the Winchester gun model on my portfolio website, and to also practice baking high poly to low poly hard surface meshes. Here are some renders of the model in Marmoset Toolbag. Once I get some critiques on the model, I will make some revisions and post it to my portfolio.

Generals, Dungeons, and job hunting

After taking a short break from 3D, I decided to revise the Roman General a bit. I added a Pugio (type of dagger), a scabbard, a handbag, and adjusted some proportions as well as touching up the various maps.

I also started creating assets for a medieval dungeon. Here are some screenshots from within the Maya view port. Once I get it to a reasonable point, I will throw then in UDK, since my portfolio lacks any work in that engine.

I am still looking for an entry level position in the Game Industry. Although I have not had any job offers yet, I am still optimistic.

Here are some studies I did, sorry about the quality, I had to use my digital camera because I lost my scanner cables in the move, and have yet to find them.

phanaeus Vindex (complete)

After quite a few hours of tinkering with the diffuse, specular, and normal maps, I have completed the phaneus Vindex model. Here is a render of it in Marmoset Toolbag. Hopefully I will be able to update my portfolio website soon. A late Happy New Years to all!
